My Background

Completed a Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s degree at Kingston University, achieving a Second-Class with Honours. Proficient in CAD, FEA/CFD analysis, and additive manufacturing, with proven experience applying these skills to real-world design and manufacturing challenges.

A multi-skilled and ambitious engineer, comfortable working independently or collaboratively, with a strong philosophy of ‘outside-the-box’ problem solving. Demonstrated leadership and innovation through the iMechE Robotics Competition, academic projects, and now as a valued engineering technician in biomedical imaging at King’s College London, supporting over 100 academics across 10+ labs/workshops.

As my final year individual university project, I led the design and development of a small fixed-wing VTOL UAV with tilt rotors, integrating multiple disciplines including electronics, control systems, aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, and structural analysis. This involved developing servo-actuated transition control, conducting CFD studies to evaluate aerodynamic performance, testing structural components (with a focus on wing resonance and deflection), and managing the project to deliver a working concept within strict deadlines.

With advanced expertise in CAD and manufacturing, I have also delivered innovative solutions including laser-induced nitinol shaping and custom G-code for nanofibre production, alongside producing accurate 3D models through optical/laser scanning integrated with additive and subtractive processes. I am highly experienced in training and technical supervision, delivering inductions and advanced instruction in 3D scanning, machining, tensile testing, and soldering.

Beyond academia, I have worked across diverse technical fields — from motorcycle repair to electronics servicing with Lime Bikes — and currently run a small business providing bespoke 3D printing and engineering design consultancy.

Design, manufacturing, and development are at the core of my skillset. A large part of my success stems from my ability to cultivate an intuitive understanding of design specifications, and spearheading the project from there. Taking creative 'outside the box' approaches has always served well for reaching an end goal effectively.
